IMF and Ukraine agree on $16.5 billion loan deal

The International Monetary Fund and Ukraine said on Sunday they had reached an agreement in principle for a $16.5 billion (10.4 billion pounds) loan package to ease the effects of the global financial crisis.

London Scottish Bank mulls selling debt collection unit

London Scottish Bank is considering selling its debt collection division and closing its lending and other businesses after failing to find a buyer for the whole thing, the Sunday Express reported.

Citigroup and Vancouver Airports eye Gatwick

The infrastructure fund of Citigroup and the Vancouver Airports Authority are planning a joint 2 billion pounds bid for Gatwick Airport, The Sunday Times reported without citing sources.
