Pledge to outlaw 'deactivated' guns
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has promised to outlaw "deactivated" guns, which can easily be reconverted into active firearms for use in crime.

Police are questioning the wife of a man who died after being shot in the groin.Broker Simon Woodward, 42, was found dead at his home in Fenstanton, near Cambridge.A post-mortem revealed he died from a single gunshot wound.
